The London Institute of Cosmology is an informal body set up to encourage collaboration and coordination of the activities of the cosmology groups in the London universities.
At present, the main aims are to highlight current and facilitate future collaborations, and to organise events such as the London Cosmology Discussion Meetings.
In the future it is hoped its role will expand. Some slides from a recent brain storming session on the future direction of cosmology in London and the role of the London Institute are available here.
