The CLASS/CMB Lectures were taught by Julien Lesgourges, Jesus Torrado, Benjamin Audren and Thomas Tram, from May 12-16 2014 at King’s College London.
All the slides and code from the course can be found here.
The course covered in detail the physics of Boltzmann equation, its application to the perturbations of the CMB, and includes hands-on work on using the CMB solver CLASS. In addition, tutorials on how to modify the code for specialized evolution such as modified gravity and non-standard initial conditions were held.
A total of 25 PhD students, postdocs and faculty members attended the lectures. The lectures was jointly funded by UCL, KCL, QMUL, Imperial, and CERN.
